Sunrise Foundation Successfully Completes Sacrificial Animal Campaign in Chad in Collaboration with Souleymaniye Aide et Fraternité Association (SAFA)

During Eid al-Adha, which took place between June 15–18, 2024, Sunrise Foundation proudly and partially funded a large-scale sacrificial animal campaign in collaboration with Souleymaniye Aide et Fraternité Association (SAFA). This joint effort brought hope, joy, and relief to thousands of people in Chad.

As part of the campaign, dozens of cattle were sacrificed, and the meat was distributed to those in need in different neighborhoods of N’Djamena, Mongo, and Abéché. These regions are known for their large populations living in poverty, where food shortages are a daily reality. Thanks to this meaningful initiative, thousands of vulnerable families were able to receive nutritious meat and celebrate Eid al-Adha with dignity.

A Collaboration Shaped by Solidarity
SAFA handled the logistics and organization of the campaign, while Sunrise Foundation team members and SAFA's dedicated volunteers provided support. This collaboration demonstrated the power of unity and shared goals. Together, we brought to life the essence of Eid al-Adha – sharing with those in need.

The Eid al-Adha campaign in Chad was not only an act of charity but also a beacon of hope. In a country where a large portion of the population struggles with poverty, this campaign touched many lives and brought joy to countless hearts. The distributed meat packages not only provided physical nourishment but also brought happiness and allowed families to celebrate the holiday with pride and dignity.
